BSNL to launch DSPT service on commercial basis

State-run Indian operator BSNL has decided to launch DSPT service on commercial basis. The tariff for commercial use of DSPT has been provided. The sale price including installation of each DSPT terminal (1.2 m antenna diameter with BUC of 1 watt), amount to INR 80,000 and the sale price of SPV equipment per unit amount to INR 35,000. Among the voice usage charges within India, fixed monthly charges amount to INR 500 and call rate per minute for a pulse rate of 60 seconds is INR 5.00. The minimum commitment is for two years and other charges include WPC charges, service tax and licence fee.
