BT call centre agents handle 90,000 emergency calls a day

BT confirmed that its emergency call (999) agents handle 90,000 calls a day. The latest 999 call handling volumes were announced as the UK marks 999 Day on 09 September, to celebrate the work of the county's emergency services.
