BT continues Scotland fibre broadband deployment

BT announced that more than 3,200 premises in Whitburn in West Lothian now have access to high-speed fibre broadband. As well as this commercial investment by BT, West Lothian Council has invested an additional GBP 2.5 million in the Super-fast Scotland programme. BT also announced that more than 3,200 homes and businesses in Carluke, South Lanarkshire, now have access to high-speed fibre broadband. As a result, more than 89,100 premises across the South Lanarkshire area now have access to fibre broadband. This will increase to 96,600 as BT continues its commercial roll-out.
