BT criticised for hiding high profits from payphone business

Vodafone is calling for UK regulators to intervene on the level of payphone access charges paid to BT by 0800 number providers to support the maintenance of phone kiosks, reports The Telegraph. New research commissioned by Vodafone suggests that BT's payphones generate annual revenues of around GBP 36 million.
