BT ends Q2 with 1.3 million TV customers

BT added 106,000 BT TV customers in the 2nd quarter to 30 September, taking the TV customer base to 1.3 million. It now offers a total of 182 channels, including the BT Sport and AMC channels. The launch of the new BT Sport Pack on 01 August has proved popular with customers. BT said it contribution in the second quarter was ahead of expectations. BT Sport average daily audience figures increased 47 percent in the quarter, with encouraging viewing figures from the UEFA Champions League.
