BT fined GBP 6.3 million by Ofcom for breach of rules in N Ireland tender

BT has been fined GBP 6.3 million by UK regulator Ofcom for breaking rules in a tender for a major public sector telecoms services contract in Northern Ireland. The 9-year contract had a value of GBP 50-400 million, reflecting potential future changes to scope and scale.
