BT, govt rural broadband talks close to collapse - report

Talks between the UK Government and BT network subsidiary Openreach about upgrading broadband for 1.4 million rural homes are close to collapse, reports The Telegraph. This could delay the broadband plans by up to three years, threatening a manifesto pledge from the Conservatives to deliver the minimum 10 Mbps connection to everyone by 2020.
