BT Italia unveils digital classroom at Milan school

Thursday 21 January 2016 | 10:27 CET | News
Italian operator BT Italia has created what it describes as the digital classroom 3.0 at a Milan secondary school. The operator teamed up with the city's educational department and Alascom to supply Giusti-d'Assisi comprehensive school with full Wi-Fi coverage, 30 tablets, an interactive HD video projector and a multimedia board complete with a cloud-based content delivery platform. Sensors to monitor air pollution and air quality were also installed in the classroom. The cloud-based system allows those unable to attend in person to remotely connect to the classroom, said BT Italia.
