BT recruits 112 extra engineers in Scotland

BT has announced plans to hire 112 new engineers in Scotland. They will join local network unit Openreach to install new lines, fix faults and help bring high-speed fibre broadband to homes and businesses across the country. BT engineers are currently passing 5,000 Scottish premises a week with fibre broadband at the same time as completing 12,000 jobs a week to install new lines, repair faults and keep customers connected. Meanwhile, BT has now connected more than 3,400 homes and businesses in Largs to fibre broadband. These are among more than 275,000 across Scotland which can now access
