BT rejects TalkTalk report into wholesale FTTC prices

Ofcom's investigation into the price charged by BT for wholesale superfast broadband products was prompted by a confidential report from complainant TalkTalk, ISPreview.co.uk reports. The report, prepared by German telecoms consultants Wik Consult and leaked on technology website Br0kenTeleph0n3, found that Openreach's costs to build the FTTC network are GBP 4.39 per line per month, with Openreach charging resellers GBP 7.40 or GBP 9.95 depending on bandwidth provided.
