BT to bring free Wi-Fi kiosks to Southwark

BT announced that the south London area of Southwark will be the first to benefit from its new free Wi-Fi kiosks. The operator announced last year plans to replace some of its payphones with ad-supported kiosks offering free Wi-Fi and phone services. Camden was said to be the first to get the LinkUK service, and now Southwark has been added to the launch list. BT has partnered with Intersection, the same company that brought the services to New York, as well as outdoor advertising specialist Primesight on the project.
