BT to present initial G.fast trial results in October

BT will unveil initial findings from its large-scale trial of G.fast technology at the Broadband World Forum in October. The company is currently testing the technology in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire and Gosforth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Mike Galvin, MD of Service, Strategy & Operations for BT's Technology, Service & Operations (TSO) division, will give a presentation exploring the initial results from the trials, which cover around 4,000 premises in total, explaining how these results build on the findings of early technical testing of the technology at BT's innovation centre at Adastral Park in
