BT wins new contract to connect Dutch diplomatic missions

BT has won a contract from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide WAN, LAN and Wireless LAN services to its embassies and consulates in 120 countries, using the latest software defined networking technology. The contract is valued at EUR 33 million over an initial period of four years, with an option of extension for up to nine years. The contract was won under a public, EU-wide tender procedure.
