BTRC takes action to stop illegal VoIP

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Comission (BTRC) has carried out intensive action to stop illegal VoIP, local daily The Daily Janakanthay reported online All the circuits of international gateways (IGWs), interconnection exchanges (ICXs), Bangladesh Telecommunication Company Limited (BTCL) and STM-1 are being checked regularly, . Simultaneously, all the operators were ordered to start a new technology called the Telecommunications Traffic Measurement and Anti-fraud Detection System.
