BTRC to cut revenue sharing for prospective 4G operators

The prospective 4G service providers in Bangladesh may have to share 5.5 percent of their revenue instead of the proposed 15 percent with the government, according to officials at the Bangladesh Telecommunication and Regulatory Commission. Following the advice of the Prime Minister's ICT Affairs Adviser, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, the BTRC has decided to bring down the share to 5.5 percent, The Daily Star reported.
