BTRC to introduce new system to identify illegal calls

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) is getting ready to introduce a new system for tracking illegal calls that are generated by VoIP technology. According to the BTRC's plan, a software named 'Telecommunication Traffic Measurement and Anti-Fraud System' would be introduced to detect any kind of illegal call termination, along with accurate call volume and call sources, reported Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), the state-run news agency.
