Bundesrat approves public Wi-Fi law in Germany

The Bundesrat, the upper house of the German parliament has approved the so-called WLAN law, designed to make it easier to offer public Wi-Fi services. Passed by the lower house earlier this year, the new law clarifies the liability of Wi-Fi providers for content passing over their network.
