Burkina Faso govt launches student computer subsidy scheme

The government of Burkina Faso has launched the "One student, one computer" programme to improve access to the internet for bachelor's degree students in particular, Ecofin reported. Innovation minister Alkassoum Maiga said the strategy is part of the government's ambition to digitise and improve education as per international standards.
