BVI govt to hold urgent talks over underperforming internet service

British Virgin Islands (BVI) premier and minister of finance Andrew Fahie has announced plans to summon the heads of local telecommunications companies to a meeting with a view to resolving the territory's poor internet. "I intend to call an urgent meeting with the heads of the telecommunications companies operating in the territory to address what we view as a technological crisis," said Fahie in a statement.
