Cablevision ends 2014 with 1.40 mln digital subscribers

Argentine cable-TV operator Cablevision ended the fourth quarter of 2014 with 1.40 million digital subscribers, up 11.5 percent compared to 1.24 million in the year-ago quarter. The operator said that 2.77 million subscribers were technically ready to receive digital TV services at the end of 2014, climbing 0.9 percent year-on-year. The company ended December with 3.62 million pay-TV subscribers. Cablevision is controlled by local media conglomerate Grupo Clarin.
