Cablevision gains 9,000 customers in Q1, revenue up 1.6%

Cablevision reported an improvement in customer numbers during the first quarter, with a net gain of 9,000. The US cable operator, which is in the process of being acquired by Altice, still lost 15,000 TV subscribers and 8,000 telephony customers in the three months, while gaining 19,000 broadband subscribers. In total, it had 3.129 million customers at the end of March, out of 5.090 million homes passed.
