Cairo Metro plans to launch travel information and booking app

The Cairo Metro has announced plans to launch a mobile application to help travelers using the subway with information about booking and subscriptions, EgyptToday reported. The app is part of the government's bid to reduce crowds at booking booths and to facilitate the daily commute of millions of people. Passengers will be able to obtain their metro subscriptions whatever their types, and by downloading the required documents on the app, they can head to the nearest metro subscription office and receive theirs.
