Cameroon cracks down on counterfeit Tecno phones

The ministry of commerce of Cameroon announced that its personnel has been seizing counterfeit phones and accessories in Yaounde and Douala, in response to legal action brought by the country's sole importer of products from France's Tecno brand of handsets designed for African markets. The importer denounced the high number of counterfeit products on the market as well as shopkeepers unlawfully displaying the logo.
