Canal Plus announces TNTSat service for multi-dwelling units

French pay TV group Canal Plus will offer "TNTSat Collectif", France's first TNTSat technical solution for multi-dwelling units, thanks to a new partnership with Triax. TNTSat, which delivers free DTT channels via satellite to consumers outside DTT coverage areas, has been available for two years and is used by over 1.5 million individual homes. Canal Plus said TNTSat Collectif terminals' functionality and security will be the same as the standard service. They will give access to 18 free DTT channels, HD channels, 24 regional versions of France 3, and France O.
