Canal Plus celebrates 30 years since launch

French pay TV channel Canal Plus has launched a website designed around the celebration of its 30th anniversary, offering details of special programming to celebrate the event. The website will be online until 15 November, providing daily surprises, content released for the first time, sneak previews and games. Canal Plus has also dressed up its channel during two weeks of special programming. Starting as a single TV channel in 1984, when there were only three channels in the country, it now offers six channels on all screens and on demand. The group has 6 million subscribers in France and
