Canal Plus launches Android version of mobile TV app

French pay TV group Canal Plus has launched an Android version of its mobile app, previously only available to iPhone owners, writes Degroup News. The free app allows users to view Canal Plus's free-to-air programmes and its i>tele news channel over streaming mobile video (HSPA and Wi-Fi). After downloading the app, users are invited to sign up for premium packages Canal Plus, Canal Plus Cinema, Sport, Family or Decale (staggered) and the on-demand service at EUR 4.99 per month for two months, rising to EUR 20 per month thereafter.
