Canal Plus raises Q1 revenues 4.4% to EUR 1.29 bln

Broadcasting group Canal Plus revenues increased 4.4 percent to EUR 1.29 billion in the first quarter compared to a year earlier, mainly due to the integration of new French free-to-air channels D8 and D17 and Poland's 'n' platform, reports parent company Vivendi. EBITA decreased 22.4 percent to EUR 183 million, after EUR 7 million of transition costs related to the integration of the new businesses.
