France's Canal Plus announced that one month after launching its 20-channel video platform on YouTube at the start of December 2013, it had signed up 1.5 million channel subscribers and its programmes have been viewed more than 39 million times. The broadcaster's Palmashow, normally viewed on DTT channel D8, was the second-highest viewed French comedy programme, and the third-highest of all French shows by subscriber additions (481,000 in December). The top Canal Plus programme by January was Les Tutos, created by StudioBagel, with over 1 million subscribers.
