Canal Plus starts broadcasting NBA games in Africa

From 1 January, French pay TV group Canal Plus will start broadcasting US basketball games from the NBA on its Canal Plus and Canal Plus Sport channels in around 20 African countries, including Senegal, Cote d'Ivoire and Cameroon, Agence Ecofin reports. Three matches are programmed for the first day, including two pre-recorded games. During the rest of the year, two games will be offered every week, on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
