Canal Plus to launch African mobile SVoD service with iRoko

Pay TV operator Canal Plus has joined forces with African SVoD operator iRoko to launch an SVoD service for mobile phone users in Francophone Africa. The app will be launched in the upcoming months. It will use Canal Plus's catalogue of African programmes, including Nollywood film and TV series and French-language programmes, as well as South American telenovelas. Canal Plus already carries iRoko channel Nollywood TV.
