Canal Plus uses Nagra Connect for UHD content protection

Nagra said that it has expanded its current partnership with Canal Plus, renewed in September 2017, to provide its Connect protection platform for the broadcaster's new Ultra-HD (UHD) offer in France. Canal Plus announced the launch of its first UHD set-top box, Le Decodeur Canal, on 18 January. The STB offers UHD reception over satellite, with availability via broadband expected soon.
