Canal wins rights to Rio 2016 basketball qualifying matches

French pay TV operator Canal Plus has signed an agreement with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) for exclusive broadcast rights to all of the matches of the world Olympic Qualifying Tournament for the Rio 2016 games. Canal Plus will air live transmissions of the women's basketball qualifying matches from 13 to 19 June and the three men's games from 4 to 10 July. Canal Plus is the official broadcaster for the entire Rio 2016 Olympics.
