Cape Verde to get first local mobile phone in December

The first Cape Verdean mobile phone will be launched on the national market on 9 December and in mid-2021 in other Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa, reports Lusa. Rue is an initiative of the company Ifome, in partnership with an international partner. The dual Sim 4G mobile phone will be produced in China and include national applications such as Ifome and a chat app.
