Cape Verde to start analogue TV switchoff in August

The government of Cape Verde approved the resolution on the timetable for the analogue TV switch-off, a process that will start in August, reports Expresso das Ilhas. Cape Verde Broadcast (CVB), a company created by the government to implement the DTT project, has presented a plan for the switch-off, which consists of a gradual transition, per island and per transmitter, including pilot switch-off zones for prior tests.
