Car, banking industries confident about digital future

The German automotive industry expects to be at the international forefront of digitisation, with 86 percent of industry managers confident about being in the leading group, and 22 percent expecting to be world leader, according to a recent Bitkom survey among 556 managers in the automobile, media, tourism, pharmaceutical and banking.industries. The survey showed that top bankers are optimistic about the future as well; 52 percent see their industry positioned at the very forefront of digitisation in ten years and 12 percent at the top.
