Carphone Warehouse fined GBP 400,000 by ICO for data breach

Carphone Warehouse has been fined GBP 400,000 by the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) after employee and customer data was put at risk following a cyber attack in 2015. This is one of the highest fines ever issued by the ICO.
