CAT board oks mobile network joint venture deal with DTAC

Thai state-owned operator CAT Telecom's board has approved a 49:51 joint venture with mobile operator Total Access Communication (DTAC) to manage DTAC's transmission network. The agreement ends a legal dispute over the ownership of the network under DTAC's concession from CAT, valued at more than THB 10 billion, The Nation reports. DTAC will own a 51 percent stake in the joint venture.
