Catalan operator Fibracat aiming to reach 1 mln homes this year

Spanish regional broadband provider Fibracat has announced plans to expand its FTTH service to 1 million homes in Catalonia by the end of this year and to reach all Catalan localities with over 500 inhabitants in less than 5 years. The company, founded in 2013, has also become a full MVNO and launched 7 new mobile plans named after Catalan female writers, illustrators and activists. They include Caterina (Albert), Montserrat (Roig), Lola (Anglada), Joana (Raspall) and Muriel (Casals), the latter offering 25GB of data, unlimited calls and 1,000 SMS to other Fibrecat numbers for EUR 20 a
