Celeno introduces 802.11ac Wave 2 with Quicksilver range

Celeno Communications unveiled its 802.11ac Wave 2 product family under the name Quicksilver. The chips are based on Celeno's Smart MU-MIMO architecture and algorithms with support for 160 MHz channel width and Celeno's channel-aware Wi-Fi virtualization, QoS and QoE management technology, OptimizAIR 2.0. Quicksilver products build on Celeno's channel-aware scheduling algorithms to enhance multi-user groupings as part of the airtime management engine.
