Cellcom Guinea awards network contract to Huawei

Cellcom Guinea has signed a "multi-million US-dollar" contract with Huawei to expand network coverage and boost capacity. Announcing the deal, the operator indicated that this contract is the latest in a number of agreements to improve network quality in the country, including a project to increase connectivity over the infrastructure managed by Guilab, the public private partnership tasked with overseeing the construction and operation of a national network linking the country to the ACE submarine cable.
