Cellcom Israel revenue falls 4% in Q1

Cellcom Israel reported a 3.9 percent decrease in revenues for the first quarter ended 31 March to ILS 892 million from ILS 928 million in Q1 2019. The fall is attributed to a 16.0 percent decrease in equipment revenues, which was partially offset by a 0.6 percent increase in service revenues. Operating income increased 100.0 percent to ILS 18 million from ILS 9 million in 2019. Adjusted EBITDA increased 8.9 percent to ILS 244 million from ILS 224 million in 2019, 27.4 percent of revenues, up from 24.1 percent in 2019.
