Cellum creates new mobile apps

M-commerce technology provider Cellum completed the development of a number of mobile payment systems as part of a project which cost HUF 174.45 million and was 70 percent funded by the European Union, according to local publication Budapest Business Journal citing news agency MTI. One smartphone app prototype has the ability to identify a product by taking a photo of it, another app lets end-users purchase tickets online, and a third helps end-users manage personalised electrical loyalty cards used for shopping. Among Cellum's partners are Telenor, Magyar Telekom and MasterCard.
