CESG denies BlackBerry 10 govt security report

CESG, the UK Government's National Technical Authority for Information Assurance, has issued a statement following press reports about the security of the BlackBerry 10 platform. CESG said that talks with BlackBerry were ongoing about the use of the BlackBerry 10 platform in government. CESG has not yet performed an evaluation of the security of the platform, but expects to issue Platform Guidance in the summer. This will cover a number of platforms, including BlackBerry 10. It added that CESG has a long-standing security partnership with BlackBerry and is confident that the BlackBerry 10
