Ceva returns to positive revenue growth in Q2

Friday 9 August 2019 | 08:27 CET | News
Ceva reported an improving revenue trend, as growth returned to positive territory in the three months to June. The company generated quarterly revenues of USD 18.4 million, up 5 percent year-on-year (-3% in Q1 and -1% in Q4 2018). The progression reflected a recovery in handset baseband shipments within its Royalty business, after what Ceva described as a period of market softness and excess inventories. As a result, Royalty revenues grew by 2 percent to USD 7.6 million, following double-digit declines in the previous two quarters.
