Ceva unveils three new Wi-Fi IP platforms

Ceva, a licensor of DSP and IP platforms for cellular, multimedia and connectivity, unveiled its RivieraWaves Wi-Fi IP platforms addressing the growing need to integrate Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac into a new class of SoCs targeting a broad range of connected devices that comprise the IoT. Three RivieraWaves Wi-Fi platforms are available, namely RivieraWaves Sense, RivieraWaves Surf and RivieraWaves Stream. In related news, Ceva partnered with RF IP providers including, Catena, Maxscend and others to offer low power RF products that are fully validated with the Wi-Fi platforms. Ceva also announced
