Channel 4 takes minority equity stake in Readly

UK broadcaster Channel 4 has announced a airtime-for-equity agreement with digital magazine service Readly. This is the fourth deal made through Channel 4's Commercial Growth Fund. As part of the 7-figure agreement, Readly will be able to launch its first ever TV ad campaign in exchange for Channel 4 taking a minority equity stake in the company. Readly major TV ad campaign launches on 20 June across Channel 4's linear channel network. Designed and created by Readly delivers titles as digital editions to multiple devices, on or offline, with unlimited usage for GBP 7.99 per month.
