Chapitre.com to sell e-books for Sony Reader PRS-T2

Wednesday 22 August 2012 | 10:14 CET | News
French e-book vendor Chapitre.com will offer its full catalogue of 180,000 titles (including 80,000 in French) on Sony's new Reader PRS-T2 when the device goes on sale in France on 7 September. The reader will sell for EUR 129, or EUR 30 more than the Kindle or Kobo, Le Figaro reports. Chapitre.com's main rivals are Amazon and its Kindle offering access to 1 million titles, and Fnac with the Kobo, whose catalogue comprises 2 million titles, 200,000 of which are in French. Chapitre.com sister company France Loisirs, also owned by Actissia, is expected to launch its own e-book service.
