Chemring, Avanti, Spectra offer mobile system over satellite

Chemring Technology Solutions, Avanti Government Services and Spectra Group (UK) collaborated and completed trials to deliver a deployable mobile communications system over satellite for defence and security use in remote locations. Both Spectra's Shade Lite and µShade products were used to provide a connection to Chemring Technology's SmartLink mobile network via Avanti's Ka-band satellite system.
