Chile ports over 97,000 mobile numbers in October

Chile reached 1.55 million ported fixed and mobile numbers at 31 October. Of these, 1.40 million were mobile numbers. Chilean mobile operators ported 97,113 mobile numbers in October alone, according to a report from Chilean telecoms regulator Subtel. Claro led mobile number portings, adding nearly 164,776 net ported customers, Virgin attracted 61,579 net users, followed by Nextel (12,858), VTR (10,651), and Telsur (1,545). Movistar lost 188,665 net ported customers and Entel shed 63,830 users by 31 October.
