Chile to set new rules for telecoms services in buildings

Chilean telecommunications regulator Subtel is preparing a new law aimed at guaranteeing the rights of homeowners when it comes to contracting next-generation telecoms services in their buildings. The "shared use of telecommunications infrastructure in buildings and condominiums law", which is set to enter into force in 90 days, gives all residential users the right to choose the telecoms operator of their choice in the buildings where they live.
